A. Lukashenko attends Games of Future opening ceremony in Kazan

The opening ceremony was also attended by the presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and heads of delegations fr om other states. During the ceremony, the Russian President noted that this tournament is a blend of tradition and modernity, harmony of physical perfection and high intelligence, sport and technology, enlightenment and science. The Russian leader was also congratulated on the successful opening of the tournament by his colleagues from the Commonwealth of Independent States. After the tournament opening ceremony, the heads of state visited several competition pavilions, wh ere they familiarized themselves with the concepts of various types of fijtal sports and the principles of this movement. The Future Games International Multisport Tournament is a high-tech sports show. It includes competitions in classic sports and their digital versions. Over 270 teams and more than 2 thousand athletes from 107 countries will take part in the tournament. Belarusians will compete in several disciplines. About 70 of our compatriots came to the tournament. Some of them are part of multinational teams.
