Kazakhstan hosts summits of the CIS Council of Heads of State and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. President of Belarus took part in these summits and held several meetings with colleagues. Alexander Lukashenko presented the President of Kazakhstan the Order of Friendship of Peoples.<br>The talks with Vladimir Putin mostly dealt with the economic issues. Presidents of Belarus and Russia have agreed to meet in Moscow in order to discuss topical issues of bilateral relations. In general, the leaders of the CIS summit in Kazakhstan signed 16 documents. Important decisions were taken on strengthening the military and humanitarian cooperation. At the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council the heads of state discussed the main directions of international activity and economic development of the EAEU. Analyzing the activities of the CIS, Alexander Lukashenko says that the Commonwealth is very important as a negotiating platform. However, the organization should begin to address serious problems of the post-Soviet space.
