The focus of the Head of State was on the trends that influence the work of the Belarusian customs. The Customs Service is a reliable shield against smuggling and a convenient guide for legitimate trade flows. In addition, the Head of State inquired about the situation on the border due to the embargo, which Russia imposed against a number of countries.<br>Chairman of State Military-Industrial Committee Sergey Gurulyov has reported to the President on economic activities and prospects of the country"s defense industry. Over the past 5 years, the volume of exports has almost doubled. Last year alone, the return on sales amounted to almost 19%, and the volume of industrial production increased by 50%.
