Today President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with Ambassador of the Vatican City. Apostolic Nuncio Claudio Gugerotti completes his diplomatic mission in Belarus. The Head of State thanked the Archbishop for selfless service in Belarus. Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that our country will continue its policy of establishing very close relations with the Vatican. In turn, Claudio Gugerotti notes that the Catholic Church, Pope Francis highly respect the people of Belarus.
