CIS observers will be working in all electoral districts during the parliamentary elections in Belarus. According to head of the observer mission headquarters Yevgeny Sloboda, 44 long-term observers are currently working in Belarus and the number will increase to 300 people on the election day. The observers will be distributed over the 110 districts to monitor all the stages of the elections, such as the opening of polling stations, the voting process, the counting of votes and so on. The CIS mission will announce preliminary monitoring results on 12 September with a report to be published later.
