Minsk will remain within the existing boundaries and the city will be made more convenient for its residents. This decision was made on the basis of the report on the development prospects of the capital and surrounding areas. The requirement of Alexander Lukashenko is that Minsk should be spacious. Construction of high-rise buildings around Minsk will be stopped. The alternative is the development of satellite towns. To this end, a new master plan of the capital was developed. It takes into account the construction of social housing, industrial areas, parking lots and parks.
