Japan intends to expand its diplomatic presence in Belarus in 2019. This was announced in Minsk at a meeting in the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly. Now Japan's interests in Belarus are represented concurrently, and next year a full-fledged embassy will be set up in Minsk. MPs could provide an impetus for the development of relations in many spheres. Now the Japanese side is considering an agreement on trade and economic cooperation, on mutual protection and support of investments, on avoidance of double taxation.
