The UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution on Chernobyl, initiated by Belarus. The draft document was presented by Deputy Foreign Minister Valentin Rybakov at a plenary session at the UN headquarters in New York.The main message of the document is that the international community must continue cooperating to ensure the sustainable development of the affected regions and population, which can be achieved through partnership, innovations and investments. Also, from now on April 26 will mark International Chernobyl Tragedy Remembrance Day.
