Belarus" Central Commission for Elections and National Referendums has accredited 240 national observers for the parliamentary elections to the House of Representatives. 21 of them are from political parties and 204 from public organisations. Another 15 people have been accredited as observers by submitting applications.<br>According to Central Election Commission Chairwoman Lidia Yermoshina, the election campaign inBelarusis very active. The nomination of candidates is still ongoing, with 4.5 persons applying for a seat in Parliament.<br>The registration of candidates will take place from 2 to 11 August to be followed by election campaigning.<br>The elections to the House of Representatives are scheduled for 11 September.
