The Belarusian Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of the Belarusian section of the Belarus-India Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation in Economics, Trade, Industry, Science, Technology and Culture. It was chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Representatives of government agencies, businesses and organizations discussed the implementation of the Head of state's directives to significantly intensify cooperation with India. Among the most promising areas for further cooperation are healthcare, pharmaceuticals, tourism, educational and cultural ties. Particular attention was paid to preparing for upcoming bilateral events at the highest and most prominent levels.
