Zazhinki held in the Goretski district

Strict observance of harvesting technologies is the task set before the farmers of the country. The northern districts of the Mogilev region also joined the harvesting campaign. According to tradition, before the start of the harvest, women with sickles are the first to go out into the field and cut wheat ears. The "Zazhinki" rite gave start to the harvesting campaign at the "Goretskoye" farm. This year, over 3,500 hectares have been allocated for grain crops. Almost 80% of them are used for winter crops, including barley. Grain growers are counting on a good harvest. Harvested fields will immediately be prepared for the fall sowing of winter crops.
