Lanzhou Hosts Forum of Regions of Belarus and China

The forum brought together over 270 participants from 23 regions of China and representatives from all regions of Belarus and the city of Minsk. The countries are opening a new chapter in the history of bilateral relations. Regional cooperation today is the foundation for joint development, emphasized First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov at the opening ceremony. Experts, representatives of local government agencies, and the business community are working in thematic sections covering the entire spectrum of all-weather partnership between the two countries. Bilateral documents on investment, trade, interregional, scientific, technical, and humanitarian cooperation are planned to be signed on the sidelines of the forum.
