Vitebsk and the Chinese province of Shandong are expanding cooperation

China is one of Vitebsk Oblast's key partners. The development of interregional cooperation and promising areas of bilateral relations were discussed in the regional capital at a meeting with a delegation from the Chinese province of Shandong. Priority areas include industry, science, education, culture, and sports. One promising area is agricultural production. The chemical and pharmaceutical industries, trade, infrastructure projects, and tourism also play a significant role. Expanding ties between the regions contributes to the development of the two countries' economies and improves the quality of life for residents. The visit's program also includes a visit to the Vitebsk Free Economic Zone. A presentation of companies whose products are in demand on the Chinese market was organized for the Chinese guests.
