Vegetable harvest

Minsk region farmers continue harvesting crops. Potatoes were grown on more than 7.5 thousand hectares; a third part of them has already been harvested. The average yield is over 300 c/ha. The leader is Nesvizh district, where they harvest 60 tons per hectare. Minsk Vegetable Factory has also joined the harvesting of root crops. The acreage under potatoes here has been significantly increased. And already the “Skarb” variety of Belarusian selection yields 400 c/ha. After sorting and cleaning the root crops will be put into the stabilization fund. The farm plans to harvest about 1.5 thousand tons of potatoes and 4 thousand tons of vegetables. Carrots and beetroot, onions, and cabbage are next.
