Use of local fuels

Local fuels used in the Minsk region make 32% of the total volume. The figure increases year by year. Over the five-year period, 21 boiler stations using waste wood will be constructed within the framework of the energy-saving program. Renewable energy sources are also actively used in the region. Over the 9 months of the current year, 72 million kilowatt-hours of electric energy were produced from them.
