Belarus is among the top 20 main partners of Uzbekistan in terms of foreign trade. In recent years, economic and investment cooperation between the countries has been developing dynamically and covering new areas. Over the past 8 years, the trade turnover has increased by more than five times, from $182 mln to almost $1 bln. Industrial partnership, digital technologies, investments in the service sector, and tourism are among the priorities. Over the past 8 years, the export of Belarusian products has increased by five times. Food products, non-food raw materials, machinery and transport equipment, industrial goods, mineral fuels, and oils are supplied. The number of enterprises with Belarusian capital in Uzbekistan has increased by almost 12 times. There are now more than 250 such enterprises. More than 110 enterprises with Uzbek investments operate in Belarus. Exchange trading is actively developing. The countries have set an ambitious goal of increasing mutual trade to $2 bln by 2030.
