Minsk and Yekaterinburg expect to increase mutual trade to $1 billion by 2025. The partners confirmed their intentions at the Business Cooperation Council meeting in Minsk. The trade turnover has been growing for 4 years in a row. Since 2020, it has more than doubled. Industrial cooperation helps strengthen ties. But its potential has not been exhausted. The agenda includes options for organizing the joint production of elevators, as well as further cooperation between our enterprises in localizing a number of production facilities in mechanical engineering. Thus, BelAZ and a Sverdlovsk company have created and are successfully operating the first joint venture in Belarus for the production of hydraulics. This has made it possible to substitute Western imports. It is planned to soon provide other domestic equipment manufacturers with Russian-Belarusian components.
