The labor market in Belarus is balanced

The unemployment rate over 7 months in Belarus according to the classification of the International Labor Organization is 3.6%, while the forecast is 4.2%. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economy Dmitry Yaroshevich. This is a confirmation that the labor market is balanced: there are no layoffs and part-time work. Profitability of real sector enterprises is 8.6%. This is the best indicator in 10 years. And the Ministry of Economy connects the reduction in GDP with individual enterprises that have fallen under sanctions and have not yet reached their sales and production volumes. In the second half of the year, an increase in export earnings is also expected. Already more than 60% of enterprises have completely rebuilt the logistics of external sales.
