Sugar beet harvesting

Belarusian farmers have started harvesting sugar beets. Grodno region is traditionally the leader in terms of productivity and harvesting rates. Here they harvest 700 centners per hectare, and in some farms the figure reaches a thousand. Simultaneously with harvesting, root crops are shipped to a processing plant. Each agricultural enterprise has been given a daily delivery plan. Sugar beet harvesting will last until the end of November. The plants plan to completely process raw materials in January next year.
