The Belarusian economy retains a tendency to growth. This is evidenced by the final figures for last year and data for January of this year. The results of socio-economic development of the country for last year were summarized at a meeting of the Council of Ministers. In 2024, it was possible to solve the most important tasks set by the Head of State and provided by the Program of Socio-Economic Development. This, first of all, concerns the growth of welfare of citizens. Real incomes have increased by almost 10%. Last year, pensions also grew by the same amount. In December, the average salary reached Br2.700. As in previous years, budgetary employees and low-paid categories of workers were financially supported.
