Production of import-substituting productsм

Belarus has produced import-substituting products worth $6.5 billion over six months. As First Deputy Minister of Economy Yury Chebotar said, now special attention is paid to local raw materials and the extension of technological chains, as well as the development of competencies in domestic science and the development of new cooperation projects with Russian partners. The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange was also actively involved in the implementation of the import substitution program, having created a platform for buyers and manufacturers in May. Over two months, more than 4 thousand transactions worth 30 million Belarusian rubles have already been concluded.
