Preparing rapeseed for processing

Farmers are completing the harvesting of winter rapeseed. The harvested crop is being prepared for further processing. Produce from all over the region is brought to the Pripyat production site of the Gomel Fat and Oil Plant. Here the rapeseed is dried to the required parameters. The condition of raw materials is monitored by specialists. Processing of rapeseed will start in the first half of August. One ton of raw materials yields 400 kilograms of oil and more than half a ton of cake.
