No increase in base rental value in Belarus until 2024

The base rental value and rate of rent in Belarus will not increase until April 2024. The decision was made by the government. It concerns enterprises and organizations that use state property, including premises, equipment, vehicles. This will help retain conditions for stable operation of businesses, the government noted. The base rate has not changed since March 2019, now it’s 16 rubles 90 kopecks. In addition, in the near future, a procedure will be developed for renting state property that has not been used for more than 3 years to manufacturing companies for a 5-year period free of charge. This will enable manufacturers to invest into business expansion and modernization, rather than paying rent.
