New procedure for sales of wood

To make wood more accessible and optimize its cost is the aim of the corresponding decree by the head of state. The document will enter into force on September 25 this year. The new regulations will allow individuals to buy commercial wood directly from forestries for their own consumption at clearly defined prices. This applies to construction, reconstruction and overhaul of residential buildings. The limit is up to 70 cubic meters of roundwood, and up to 10 cubic meters for current repairs. It is expected that the delivery term will also be reduced to 60 days. Previously, it could take up to one and a half years.
