New offerings from Belarusian fish farms

More than 10 thousand tons of pond fish are planned to be produced by Belarusian fish farms this autumn. Currently the main species such as carp, grass carp, silver carp are being actively fed. Among the most significant sites of industrial fish farming in the country are the Brest and Minsk regions. In the central region, new trends are set by the Liuban Fish Processing Plant. Among its newly developed products are hot-smoked crucian carp, fish dumplings, as well as minced silver carp sausage. These are exclusive offerings, which are undergoing market trials. Another niche is the production of canned fish. In addition to local raw materials, the lines of the Liuban Fish Processing Plant are also loaded with sea fish. And following the BELAGRO exhibition, the plant agreed on new supplies of herring, sprat and mackerel from Russian regions.
