Belarus
and Kazakhstan expect to increase trade turnover to $2 bln by 2030. To find new
growth points, the Belarusian delegation headed by the Prime Minister worked in
Astana for two days to achieve this goal. During the negotiations, the parties
paid special attention to cooperation. A meeting of the Belarusian-Kazakh Business
Council was held. The delegations signed 21 documents totaling $160 mln. At the
end of the visit, a capsule was laid in honor of the start of construction of
the new MAZ dealership. The site for the construction of a sales center for
Belarusian vehicles is located along the Astana-Karaganda highway. All
equipment and a range of services will be presented here. The facility will be commissioned by the end of
2026.
