New level of cooperation

The number of cooperation and import substitution projects with Russia increased from 14 to 20. An agreement on credit support worth 105 billion Russian rubles has been signed. This will increase the competitiveness of Belarusian products and produce new types of equipment and components which used to be imported from Europe. Many of the investment projects are related to mechanical engineering. This includes production of parts for forestry machinery, relocation of the MTZ foundry outside the capital and new types of bearings.
