New cooperation projects between Belarus and Georgia will be discussed at a meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Tbilisi. A government delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Yuri Shuleiko is visiting the country.
This is the resumption of the dialogue between business and government agencies after 6 years. Thus, the two countries confirm their willingness to discuss controversial issues and seek mutually beneficial solutions. A meeting with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia is scheduled before the meeting of the commission. The range of topics is quite wide. The day before, a sales center for Belarusian equipment was opened in Tbilisi. These are tractors, combine harvesters and various attachments. The center will also work as a service center for the repair and maintenance of cars.
