The future of Eurasian integration is being discussed in Minsk by the prime ministers of the EAEU countries. The two-day negotiating marathon started today with a series of meetings. Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko held talks with Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov. The country has an observer status in the EAEU. The agenda included mutual trade. It is on the rise, but could be much bigger. The parties expressed mutual interest in intensifying cooperation. Belarus also highly appreciates the partnership approach of Uzbekistan in the face of sanctions pressure. The delegation of Uzbekistan also visited the Belarusian Hi-Tech Park. A similar platform has been operating in Tashkent for several years featuring many of the successful approaches implemented by the Belarusian HTP.
