Meat processing volumes to be increased in Brest region

A high-performance pig-breeding complex was opened near Pinsk. It is located on two technological sites: a reproduction farm and a fattening farm. The first is designed for piglets from birth to three months, the second – for older animals. Now thoroughbred pigs of Danish selection are in quarantine before moving to a new farm. The complex was built from scratch and in a short time. It opened eight months ahead of schedule. The enterprise will create fifty jobs. In total, more than 55 million rubles were spent on the implementation of the investment project. It is a strategic object for the region. They plan to produce more than four thousand tons of meat per year, which will increase the export of regional products.
