Leaders in threshing yield honored in Minsk region

Agricultural companies of the Minsk region are stepping up grain harvesting. In the Kletsk district, where they plan to thresh more than 80 thousand tons, one of the leaders is the "Kukhchitsy" farm. The local family crew of Sergei and Nadezhda Kostiukeviches were the first in the country to harvest more than a thousand tons of grain on a domestic-made combine harvester. The hard-working farmers were also awarded with gifts by representatives of the largest Belarusian agricultural machinery producer. The Gomel-based plant is planning to make it a tradition. Prizes will be given to machine operators working on Belarusian combine harvesters in each region. Winter wheat is being harvested at the "Kukhchitsy" farm right now. Its yield is 90 centners per hectare. The farmers have already threshed more than half of the government order of almost 3 thousand tons. At such an intense pace, it is the combine harvester crews and top-performing drivers who play a big role. Thanks to their work, grain is harvested from the fields on time and with high quality.
