The performance of the Belarusian economy in the current conditions and measures to overcome restrictions imposed by unfriendly countries. First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov made a report at the joint session of the Parliament. The direct impact of the sanctions pressure of Western countries affected about 20% of the Belarusian economy and indirectly affected the remaining sectors. As a result, in the first four months the GDP losses amounted to a little more than 2%. Attempts to destroy the economy of Belarus were countered by systematic work. An operational headquarters has been set up in the government. The priority is the quality and living standards of Belarusians, the fulfillment of all social guarantees and stable operation of the real sector of economy. Import substitution and reorientation of export will help to adjust to the new conditions.
