It is planned to conclude contracts worth more than 1 bln Belarusian rubles at the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia

A regular meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the XIII Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia was held in the Council of the Republic in the format of a video conference. The event will take place on 25 and 26 June in Minsk and the Minsk Oblast. Its theme is "Economic cooperation between the regions is the basis for the sustainable development of Belarus and Russia". The speakers of the Council of the Republic and the Federation Council are scheduled to meet with the heads of the regions of the two countries. A rich cultural programme is expected. The previous Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia was held in Nizhny Novgorod and was dedicated to youth policy. The amount of contracts then reached about 900 mln Belarusian rubles.
