Industrial cooperation

Belarus will supply 90 elevators to Chelyabinsk region of Russia. The agreement was signed the day before following a meeting of a working group on cooperation. Delegation of that Russian region is currently on a visit to Minsk. The parties are discussing new cooperation projects as well as increasing exports of Belarusian products that are in demand in this market. In total the commodity turnover between the Republic of Belarus and the Chelyabinsk region over the past 9 months has grown by more than 2 % and has exceeded $380 million. The most promising areas of bilateral interaction were also put down in a roadmap meant to step up scientific and technical, trade and economic and cultural cooperation between the Governments through 2025.
