Industrial cooperation between Belarus and Moscow region

Plans on development of cooperation between Belarus and the Moscow region of Russia were discussed in the town of Krasnogorsk. The main emphasis was put on import substitution. As foreign companies have left Russia, the region is interested in deliveries of Belarusian communal machines. Now, about 300 "Belarus" tractors are being prepared for shipment. A joint Belarus-Russia producer of elevators operates in the area. The Moscow region is one of Belarus’ main trading partners among the regions of Russia. Last year, the bilateral trade turnover grew by 25% and made $9 billion.
