Import substitution in the economy of the Minsk region

From food and clothing to household chemicals and mechanical engineering. This year, enterprises of the Minsk region plan to master the production of over 150 import substituting goods that will become an alternative to foreign ones worth $1 billion. Today, there is a great demand for many of them in Russia, as well as in the countries of Central Asia. Meat and dairy products are especially valued. According to experts, it is also important that Belarusian industrialists are also strengthening cooperation with their Russian partners. The agro-industrial complex of the central region also implements new investment projects for the production of poultry meat and cheeses.
