Belarusian agrarians gather maize for the seed reserve. The “Krinichnaya” experimental base has allocated over 4 thousand hectares of maize fields for the seed production. The situation in the world prompts to enhance import substitution. Previously, the share of Belarusian hybrids exceeded just a half, while now the fields are occupied with local sorts to 80%.
