Harvesting vegetables and fruits

Harvesting of seasonal fruits and vegetables continues in Belarus. More than 7.5 thousand hectares are allocated for potatoes in the Minsk region. Only a third remains to be removed. More than 150,000 tons of second bread have already been put in storage. In the farm "Krutogorye-Petkovichi" of the Dzerzhinsk district, 8 varieties of potatoes are grown at once and all of the Belarusian selection. From the fields, the tubers are sent for sorting, and then for storage or sale. As for fruits, pears were practically removed. Now they are harvesting apples. Farmers are helped by students and local schoolchildren.
