Farmers of the Minsk region harvested 10% of grain. Now the main focus is winter barley. The farm "Shipyany" of the Smolevichi district cultivates the "Buslik" variety of barley, a know-how of Belarusian breeders. The yield is expected to be about 50 c/ha. Bulk ears of other crops also promise a good harvest. 800 hectares are allotted here for winter wheat alone. Half of the fields are sown with the high-yielding Amelia variety. It is scheduled to be threshed next week. From the fields, the harvest is sent for revision. In total, about 14,000 tons of grain are planned to be harvested at the farm during the season.
