Harvesting 2022: Gomel region

The Gomel region is among the three national leaders in terms of grain threshing yield. More than 30% of the planned areas have been cropped here. Harvesting leaders were named in the region’s two districts. Three crews of the "Kalininski" agricultural enterprise threshed over a thousand tons. In total, more than 4 thousand tons of grain have been threshed at the enterprise. Dobrush district has the highest yield at 37 c/ha. The goal is 10 thousand tons of grain, which is a thousand tons more than last year's harvest. Farmers at "Kalininski" are already preparing their fields for winter barley. 260 hectares have been allotted for the crop. Another 600 hectares will be sown with rapeseed.
