Government Awards for Special Achievements in Economic Spheres

Belarus will award government prizes for special achievements in various spheres of economy. The first awarding will take place next year. The mechanism was discussed at a meeting of a special commission. Four winners will be chosen annually on a competitive basis in two categories — for significant contribution to the development of production and services, as well as for achievements in science. The size will amount to one thousand basic units each. The government award is designed to assess the personal contribution of a particular employee or labour collective to the common cause. That is, the development of the economy of the whole country.
