For the time being all levels of the retail chain have time to bring the prices of goods on the shelves in line with the new document. The deadline is October 26. The senator noted that after that the Belarusian consumer will be able to see reduction in prices. Under the new government decree, manufacturers will only be able to increase selling prices in one case: when agreed by government agencies and regional executive committees. A marginal mark-up is set for importers.
