First million tons of grain gathered in Minsk region

Growers of the Minsk region have crossed the significant threshold of the agrarian season today. The first million tons of grain has been gathered in the capital region. The present yield makes 44.2 hundredweights per hectare. It is 8 centners more than last year. Over a half of the total cultivated areas have been cropped. Chairperson of the agriculture and food panel at the Minsk regional executive committee Vasily Sysoyev congratulated the agrarians on the achievement.
