At the end of the year, Belarus reached a historical maximum in food exports. Deliveries of products abroad amounted to over $8 billion. The results of the work were summed up at the collegium of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Despite the sanctions, Belarusian products and agricultural raw materials have not experienced problems with demand – supplies to Russia, CIS, China, Asia, and other regions of the world have been increased. Milk has become the most significant domestic product: its share in export deliveries is over 40%. This year, the domestic agro-industrial complex faces even more ambitious tasks. New enterprises will contribute to the growth of agricultural production. During this and next year, 10 new dairy complexes are planned to be built in each region of the country.
