Environmentally friendly and adapting flexibly to global market demands, the newsprint mill in Shklov is opening up new niches

Thanks to production modernization, the company has quickly responded to global eco-trends and transitioned to closed-loop production. Instead of virgin wood, hundreds of tons of waste paper are processed here. The resulting product is corrugated cardboard paper, which is in demand on foreign markets. The Shklov Paper Mill produces approximately 70.000 tonnes of paper annually. They focus on niche products. The base paper for cash register receipts was previously imported into the region. Today, it is the only plant in Belarus producing this base paper. Another high-tech product is base paper for decorative facing materials. Currently, 70% of the plant's output is exported. Exports range from Russia and Uzbekistan to Türkiye and Iran.
