This year, 3 new heat sources with a total capacity of almost 10 megawatts will be built and put into operation in the Minsk region. These are boiler houses in Kletsk, Samakhvalovichi, Dzerzhinsk, where wood chips and peat are used as fuel. New facilities are on the way in the Volozhin and Smolevichi districts. Fuel pellets produced by Belarusian forestries have also become more actively used. Some of the boilers in the housing and communal services system are electric. According to experts, it is convenient for hot water supply in the warm season. In the Minsk region, the share of local fuels has already exceeded 37%.
