Belstat and Rosstat develop cooperation

One of the areas of cooperation within the Union State is statistics. The main areas of joint work of Belarus and Russia in this area were discussed in Mogilev at a meeting of the Statistical Council. Bilateral interaction between Belstat and the Federal State Statistics Service of Russia allows us to be in the trend of international statistical standards and innovations. There are enough areas for joint work: the population census, environmental protection, socio-demographic issues – specialists have improved interactive platforms for disseminating information. The participants signed an action plan for a two-year period. It will allow within the framework of the Union Program to develop harmonization on an even closer scale.
