The Belarussian delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich continues its work in Zimbabwe. The day before, they visited the service centre of Belarusian machinery. This is an exemplary platform for cooperation between Minsk and Harare and a vivid example of mutually beneficial partnership: when Belarusians can more actively promote their products in this market, and African partners can improve the efficiency of the agricultural sector. Over the last 4 years, thanks to our tractors, combines and equipment, the gross grain harvest in Zimbabwe has more than tripled. Mechanisation of agriculture in Zimbabwe is a topic that is personally supervised by the heads of the two countries. Under this programme, more than 2.000 units of machinery have already been shipped to the market. Interaction in the agro-industrial complex is not the only topic of the talks between the two countries. The main purpose of the Belarusian delegation's visit is to revise all the previously reached agreements and define new areas of cooperation. Negotiations with the President of Zimbabwe and discussion of the whole range of relations are scheduled. Also, a meeting of the Belarus-Zimbabwe Joint Standing Commission on Cooperation will be held, where a number of documents will be signed.
