More than 2 million tons of peat have been mined in Belarus this season. This allows the country to fully meet the needs of the domestic market, as well as expand the geography of sales. This year, the first trial batch of the product was shipped to Israel. The total volume of exports amounted to more than eighty thousand tons. A wide range of equipment for preparatory work, extraction, transportation and processing of peat has been launched for the needs of the industry. Peat-based products are used by cement plants, industrial enterprises, housing and communal services. Belarus ranks first in the world in terms of fuel briquettes production.
