Belarus simplifies registration of real estate transactions

The main provisions of the law came into force today. Now it is possible to apply to any office for registration of real estate rights, rather than the one in the district where, for example, the house is located. Individual entrepreneurs and legal entities may not need to apply to the registrar at all and can use a digital signature. There will definitely be more remote transactions. For example, a seller and buyer located in different cities can apply to the nearest registration office. Specialists communicate with each other via video link and draw up a contract. Citizens who have inherited real estate now have the opportunity to register it through a notary.
